Athol Place

This boutique hotel had recently been completely redesigned and beautifully decorated by the husband and wife team, Sumari & Gerhard Krige, of La Grange Interiors.

Needless to say, shooting the interior shots was a pleasure. Every room had its own individual theme, individual touches and great little details. There were textures and colours at every turn and I could have easily spent another day shooting even more. The gardens were still very new, but looked stunning, especially at dusk and early morning. It was winter otherwise I would easily have spent an hour or two in the pool.

In another post I will go on about the food - breathtaking. Then again, having a chef discuss your wishes for dinner and then preparing it for you bodes well. Look out for the food shots in a separate post.
